Dr. Allison Liu Daisong

Dr. Allison Liu Daisong (b. 1974) holds a PhD in Philosophy from Renmin University of China and is based in Singapore. In 2017, she introduced the Six Senses Theory, exploring contemporary expressions of classical landscape painting through six dimensions: form and spirit, East and West, tradition and innovation.

Working across ink, mineral pigments, acrylic, oil, and abstraction, Liu has developed a distinctive visual language that bridges Eastern aesthetics and contemporary expression. Her works are held in collections across Asia, Europe, North America, and the Middle East, and have been exhibited internationally in Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, Osaka, Busan, and Tokyo. Her solo exhibitions include presentations at the Renmin University Museum, The American Club Singapore, ONE°15 Marina Singapore, and Tokyo, Japan.
